Tarkov is a full-fledged military shooter in the theme of battle royale and survival in common locations and confrontation with other PMCs and bandits in battles for resources, experience and rubles.
PMC Mechanics
In Tarkov, representatives of two private military campaigns – TERRA and BEARS, which include military personnel from the Russian and US armies and mercenaries, came together in confrontation and confront each other on neutral territory.
When you choose your side of the conflict, you get the opportunity to obtain the types of weapons of the specified army and the language of negotiations between operatives changes.
There is no fundamental difference, and the choice must be made only from visual and ethical preferences on which side will be more interesting for you to play.
Mechanics of Money
In Tarkov, there is an eft roubles system, which allows you to always not only hunt for resources and equipment, but also buy them from other players, or redeem them from local NPCs.
For money, you can take out insurance for certain types of equipment and weapons and keep them in the event of death, while everything else and valuable that the player has can be plundered by other gamers.
You will be able to buy ammunition and various accessories for types of weapons, and their quality will depend on your level of interaction and trust with the merchant faction.
Interaction with NPCs
In Tarkov, there are various factions of non-player characters that you can interact with for resources and income.
You can complete their tasks and increase the level of trust with them and more favorable conditions for interaction.
You will be able to gain access to new types of goods and sell your trophies more profitably for more Tarkov rubles.
Just complete quests and interact with the desired NPCs more often and progress with them.
Weapon Mechanics
When you start the game, you will receive a fairly mediocre weapon and will go on combat missions to search for better weapons, ammunition and accessories.
You can find them in hiding places and on killed enemies, and to make them yours you need to take them to a peaceful zone.
If you die, you will simply lose all the types of loot that you have.
Equipment Mechanics
You need to look for different types of equipment that will strengthen your player and make battles and movement around locations safer.
You need a helmet that will give you a chance to survive a headshot that will simply destroy it but keep you alive.
You need body armor that will reduce incoming damage and increase survivability in battle.
You need a backpack that will allow you to collect and carry more items, ammo, medicine and grenades for more complex and protracted battles, or take them into the peaceful zone as strategies.
You can collect literally any item to sell for rubles in Escape from Tarkov and find NPCs or players who will be ready to buy it back. For example, in addition to various sets of medicines, a nurse will be happy to buy interior elements from you to decorate rooms, so in Tarkov there are no useless items and everything depends only on their cost at the time of sale.
Mechanics of Combat Exits
To progress in level and earn money in Tarkov, you need to go to dangerous territories, where there is always a chance to get unique types of weapons, ammunition and equipment, medicines and grenades, etc., which can either strengthen you or help you earn more money to buy other equipment, which you personally need.
Just go to the dangerous zone and be guided by the fact that you need not only to find valuable items, but also to take them to a peaceful zone in order to be able to fully dispose of them.
You will always have a chance to encounter other players and enemy PMCs, from whose hands you can die and lose all uninsured property, or, on the contrary, kill him and collect from him all the valuable items that may be useful to you in the future.
As for bandits, these are non-player characters that move in groups and have disgusting equipment, but due to their numbers they can still pose a threat.
There is no point in deliberately attacking them, because their equipment includes rusty cartridges and bad weapons that simply will not benefit you in battle, and there will always be a chance of dying from a random bullet and enemy PMCs may come to the sound of battle.
When you finish collecting valuable items, simply head to the evacuation point to return to the peaceful zone.
Wild Character Mechanics
If you play as your main operative, then your enemies will be representatives of the enemy PMC, depending on your choice, and bandits.
If you rent a wild character from a merchant guild, then you get a new character who will have a common neutrality with everyone and can be used to obtain equipment and weapons without the risk of losing the property that you already have.
If your hero kills a PMC, he will receive a serious penalty and will not be able to fully use the mechanics. The bandits will simply ignore you.
If you kill them, then you can get valuable items, unless, of course, the power of your rusty equipment is enough to complete these tasks.
As your level of loyalty with the merchant faction increases through quests and sales, your equipment for a wild character will improve, and the rental time will increase. If you yourself break the rules on the main character, then your rental conditions will become much worse.
Your main task is to enter the danger zone, collect as much equipment as possible, first of all, what you need directly, such as weapon accessories, and only then look for those items that can be profitably sold for EFT rubles.
Just take them outside the danger zone and take your trophies back to the base.
If necessary, you can order a paid evacuation, which is much faster in time.
You just need to come to the specified point and wait the time required to successfully deliver your hero to the military base.
