There are many reasons why football players play for more than one team. One is that they were traded by their original team, or released by their original team. Another reason is that they retired from playing football altogether. Sometimes the player’s contract simply expired and no other teams wanted to make a bid on them, which meant they had to go back to their original team. There are several ways in which players can end up with six different teams throughout their careers.

Who has played for the most NFL teams?

Some NFL players played for a variety of reasons. There are many ways in which they could end up with six different teams throughout their career. The most famous players who have played for six different teams during their career are Warrick Dunn, Terrell Owens and Jeff Garcia.

Warrick Dunn played for six NFL teams and was a first ballot hall-of-famer.

Terrell Owens is another player who played for six different teams during his career. He is known for his talents with catching and running the ball.

Jeff Garcia is the latest to join the six-team club of NFL players. He was drafted by Philadelphia in 1995, waived by Buffalo in 2000, acquired by Washington on waivers in 2000, acquired by Detroit on waivers in 2001, dropped by Detroit on waivers in 2003, picked up by Miami before being released again during the summer of 2005. Garcia received his second shot with Tampa Bay this season after spending two years with San Francisco.

There are also several other NFL players who have played for as many as six different teams too such as Ricky Williams and Jimmy Smith. They started off at one team and became connections or even teammates with another player from a different team which led to switching organizations too. This applies not only to nationals but regional factions as well.

The most important NFL player you’ve never heard of

One player with six different teams is cornerback Josh Norman. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers with the 14th overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, and was later traded to the Washington Redskins.

He has been part of the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This makes him an interesting athlete for fans to follow because he has had to play against teams that once drafted him and played with him in previous years.

The quarterback with the most teams

The quarterback with the most teams is Eli Manning. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers with the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft, and was later traded to the New York Giants, where he currently plays. He has been part of the San Diego Chargers, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars. This makes him an interesting athlete for fans to follow because he has had to play against teams that once drafted him and played with him in previous years.

Conclusion

Six teams is a lot of teams to play for. The most famous player who has played for six different teams during their career is Warrick Dunn, Terrell Owens and Jeff Garcia. Warrick Dunn started out with the Atlanta Falcons before playing for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers and finally Detroit Lions in his last season. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers with the 14th overall pick in 2005 NFL draft but was later traded to the Washington Redskins at some point too which means that he’s had to compete against both franchises throughout his career. This makes him an interesting athlete because he’s competed against former teammates; players who once signed him or drafted him onto their team as well as coaches who have coached against them.
