Philip Rivers is a quarterback for the San Diego Chargers, and he has never won a playoff game. He’s been to the playoffs nine times and lost every time. His teams have also lost every home playoff game they’ve played-and that is unfortunate for him, because he was just drafted by the San Diego Chargers. This is disappointing for any player who has never won a playoff game, but it’s even more so for Rivers because of where he was drafted. If he had been drafted by a team with a winning past, like the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers then maybe we would not be talking about how hard it is for Rivers to win in the playoffs like we are now!

Philip Rivers is a quarterback for the San Diego Chargers

Philip Rivers is a quarterback for the San Diego Chargers. He currently resides in Athens, Georgia. Rivers was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 2004 and has never won a playoff game since then, on top of his teams also losing all home playoff games played on their behalf. This is unfortunate for Rivers because he was just drafted by the Chargers. If he had been drafted by one of the more successful NFL teams- like the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers- then maybe we would not be talking about how difficult it is for Rivers to win in the playoffs, as we are now!

How many playoff wins does Philip Rivers have

He has played in 8 playoff games and won 3 of them.

In spite of this, Rivers is 3/8 in the playoffs and has been to the playoffs nine times. The Chargers’ home games have resulted in three losses and the  team has lost every time they have hosted a playoff game since his induction into the league.

His best performance

His best performance came against the Cincinnati Bengals when he threw 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He also has a record of 1-5 when he’s played against the Cleveland Browns. Rivers also has a career record of 59% when it comes to passing yards, which is pretty good for a player who is known for being a conservative player. Rivers’ coming out party was in his third season in the league when he led the Chargers to two consecutive playoffs games, but they lost both. The Chargers have not been coming close to making it back to the playoffs since then.

Philip Rivers’ playoff record

One of the youngest and most successful quarterbacks in the NFL, Philip Rivers has never won a playoff game in his career.

Rivers’ next playoff game will be on January 12th at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers
