What’s included: 460cc titanium driver, fairway wood, steel-shafted 3 and 4 hybrids, 5-PW irons, sand wedge, and mallet putter. There are also head coverings included.

Our opinion: These PROSIMMON clubs are ideal for taller novices who can’t find a set that fits them. The clubs use their height to their advantage. You’ve probably never heard of it as a brand. Until lately, I hadn’t.

But, like our other beginning clubs, this one features a big sweet spot and an oversized head. For novices, the large head will take some getting accustomed to, but once you do, you won’t want to put it away. You’re going to kill it out there.

The hybrids have a lot of loft, so if you’re a golfer who constantly finds himself in the rough, it’ll get you out of prison. You also receive a 5-iron, which is something that many beginning sets lack, as well as the 6,7,8,9, and pitching-wedge, all with steel shafts.

This also includes a sand wedge, so you won’t have to run out and purchase one separately. The 56-degree wedge will come in handy on beach shots and flop shots when there isn’t much green to deal with. Out there, nestling those greenside shots close to the cup, you’ll look like Tiger Woods.

The mallet putter is likewise large and well balanced. Personally, I like the weight on the bottom since it makes it simpler to roll the ball back and forth, but this is a personal preference.

On the back swing, I have a hard time keeping lighter putters straight. Do you like to walk? It comes with a bag that is very light, contains head coverings, and has a lot of pockets and storage space.

Pros

  • Designed for taller players (6’0 and above).
  • Putter with a good balance
  • Clubs that are forgiving to poor shot placement.
  • The driver gives you a lot of space.

Cons

  • For a beginning kit from an unknown company, it’s a little expensive.
  • When compared to woods and hybrids, irons are a bit smaller for players above 6’3”.

Score: 93 out of 100
